The Kingdom at Reynolds Plantation
Robin English, director of sports marketing for TaylorMade-adidas Golf, oversees the TaylorMade Kingdom at Reynolds Plantation. A native of Great Britain and educated at Liverpool College, English has been a part of the golf industry for 40 years, the last 20 years being in the United States. He joined the Dunlop Sports Company's sales and marketing team in 1968, and from then until 1983 was actively involved in the organization and management of the European Tour's Dunlop Masters tournament. Next he headed sports marketing operations for the Dunlop, Maxfli and Slazenger brands until 1987 before moving to the U.S. to help expand the Maxfli brand globally. Maxfli was acquired by TaylorMade-adidas Golf in 2002, at which point English assumed management of TMaG's Staff Programs, which today serve 2,000 PGA Professional TMaG Staff members.
Jay Johnson, Project Leader and Master Fitter at the Kingdom at Reynolds Plantation, oversees the clubfitting and club-building processes for all guests. Jay started working in the golf industry shortly after attaining his degree in Speech Communications from Colorado State University. Following positions as an assistant golf professional and subsequently a head golf professional, Jay joined the TaylorMade-adidas Golf company in 2006.
His initial position with the company included custom fitting and club building services with the Performance Van team across the United States. He joined the team at the Kingdom at Reynolds Plantation in 2007.
Cory Johnson, Master Fitter for the Kingdom at Reynolds Plantation. Cory attended Colorado State University where he graduated with a degree in Marketing in 2007. Cory worked in golf operations at Fox Acres Golf Course and Ptarmigan Golf Course in Fort Collins, Colorado. Cory formerly worked as a Club Fitter for the TaylorMade Performance Lab at Reynolds Plantation and joined the Kingdom team in 2008 as the Master Club Technician. As Master Fitter, Cory performs fittings and oversees all order entry systems.
Justin Wilson, Master Fitter for the Kingdom at Reynolds Plantation, joined the team in 2011. Justin is a California native and attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma, receiving degrees in Business Communications, Professional Golf Management and Golf Complex Operations and Management. He has worked in the golf industry since high school and held various positions including golf operations, first assistant and junior golf developer. Justin joined the TaylorMade-adidas golf company in 2009 in Carlsbad. His initial responsibilities included custom fitting and club building services as a Player Specialist.
John Habegger, Master Club Technician, joined the Kingdom team in 2010. John entered the golf industry after graduating from East Carolina University in 2004 with a degree in Sports & Recreation Management. He began his golf career as an assistant golf professional at True Blue Golf Plantation in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. John joined the TaylorMade-adidas Golf company in 2006 as a Performance Van technician performing club fittings and club building services across the United States. In 2007, John assisted in the development of the TaylorMade Golf Preowned website where he was responsible for customer service, club repair, sales and promotions. As Master Club Technician for the Kingdom, John will manage all club-building in the TaylorMade Tour Trailer as well as inventory control.
Samantha Lanzarone, Player Relations Coordinator for the Kingdom, books all fittings at the Kingdom at Reynolds Plantation, as well as coordinates accommodations, tee times, meals and spa appointments for guests. Samantha, who has been with the Kingdom since its inception in 2007, acts as concierge for Kingdom guests, individualizing each guest's stay. Samantha spent five years with the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation as Group Reservations Coordinator. She graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2004 where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with a concentration in Hospitality.
